What's happening with the YLC?

  • Role Model Gala - The YLC's 22nd Annual Role Model Gala will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel. Please see our Gala page for details. If you are interested in volunteering with the Gala Committee, please contact Alyssa Wenck (alyssaw@bb-cpa.com).

  • Applications now being accepted for the YLC's Leadership Develpment Series - LDS is an intensive 10-week program desigend to teach leadership skills to YLC members who are interested in taking on leadship position within the YLC and the community at large. Click here to learn more and apply.

  • Join the YLC's Board of Directors - nominations open through September 15th
    The YLC's primary mission is leadership development. One of the many ways we help you develop your leadership skills is by being on the Board and involved with running our organization. Nominations are open now through September 15th. You can nominate yourself. Please send your resume and a letter of interest from yourself or someone who is nominating you to nominations@youngleadershipcouncil.org. Interviews for the positions will immediately follow the 15th of September.

  • A STREETCAR NAMED INSPIREA Streetcar Named Inspire

    In November the YLC went public with A Streetcar Named Inspire, our latest large-scale project that will see streetcar replicas placed all over metro New Orleans.
