RECreate Field Trip A great big thank you to the New Orleans Hornets for having our RECreate participants at the Thursday, April 19th game versus the Houston Rockets. What an exciting game! Additionally, this field trip wouldn't be possible without dedicated RECreate volunteers, thank you for helping make this possible! RECreate is a youth recreation and cultural awareness project which takes place at the Harmony Oaks Community Center and A.L. Davis Park in Central City. Each year the YLC salutes 25 New Orleanians for making a difference in our community. We're proud to announce our 2012 Role Model Class.
Support Lemonade Day
Lemonade Day is a FREE, fun, experiential business education program that teaches youth ages 5-17 how to start, own and operate their own business using a lemonade stand as well as fundamental lessons about life, success and themselves. They earn profits, share with charities and stimulate local economies.
