The YLC Mark-o-Meter

YLC President Nolan Marshall and Vice President of Volunteerism Andrea McNeil announced one of YLC's newest initiatives this year: a goal of 10,000 volunteer hours from its members by December 31, 2009.

The organization is off to a strong start this year, with over 3,000 hours already reported through
the various educational and civic improvement projects. From tutoring students and helping
them apply to college to volunteering at the French Quarter Fest, YLC members are leaving their
mark on New Orleans.
